Michael Q. Ecker, King’s College, wins this year’s National Student Award. Majoring in English and professional writing in addition to minoring in political science and history, Michael’s senior thesis “[Exit Director, Pursued by Playwright]: An Analysis of Competing Authorial Intent and Artistic Interpretation in the Modern Drama” received the highest level of distinction. He also presented “A World Gone by: How Social Media Forever Altered and Continues to Complicate the Realm of Professional Communication” at the Johns Hopkins University Richard Mackey National Undergraduate Humanities Research symposium.
